Expanding Our Climate Commitment: 2025 ClimatePartner Renewal

Some things you do once and check off your list. Climate action is not one of them.

Today, we're proud to announce that Boxiki Group has renewed our ClimatePartner certification for the third consecutive year. This isn't just a renewal—it's an expansion. And we want to be transparent about what that means.

What ClimatePartner Certification Means

For those unfamiliar, ClimatePartner is a globally recognized framework that helps companies measure, reduce, and offset their carbon emissions. It's not a feel-good sticker—it requires real data, verified calculations, and audited offset projects. Every product we certify goes through a lifecycle assessment that accounts for raw materials, manufacturing, shipping, and packaging.

We chose ClimatePartner because we wanted accountability, not just good intentions.

What's New in 2025

This year, we've expanded our certification to include two additional product lines: our Walnut Tongs and Wooden Kitchen Utensils Set. These join our existing certified products—the 3-Piece Bamboo Cutting Board Set, Bamboo Cheese Board Set, and Acacia Wood Cutting Board—bringing our total certified product count to five and growing.

Each of these products now carries the ClimatePartner label with a unique tracking ID. Customers can visit ClimatePartner's website and verify exactly which offset project their purchase supports. That transparency matters to us.

The Numbers

Since we began this program in 2023, Boxiki Group has offset over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent across all certified products. To put that in perspective, that's roughly equivalent to taking 220 cars off the road for a year. It's meaningful—and it's growing every year as we add more products to the program.

Our offset projects span reforestation in Brazil, clean cookstove distribution in Rwanda, and wind energy development in India. We deliberately chose a diverse portfolio of projects because climate change is a global problem that requires global solutions.

Climate Action Isn't a Checkbox

We could have gotten certified once and moved on. Plenty of companies do. But that's not how we think about this. Climate action is an ongoing commitment—one that requires annual investment, continuous measurement, and a willingness to expand the scope of what you're willing to account for.

We're not perfect. Our supply chain still has a carbon footprint, and we're not pretending otherwise. But we believe that measuring, acknowledging, and actively offsetting that footprint is better than ignoring it. And every year, we push to include more products, more data, and more accountability.

What's Next

Our goal for 2026 is to certify at least three more product lines and begin publishing an annual sustainability report. We want our customers to see exactly where their money goes when it comes to environmental impact. Because climate action isn't a marketing strategy—it's a responsibility.

Thank you for supporting products that take this seriously.
